What you need to know about buying alcoholic beverages in an online grocery store

As online purchases account for an increasing share of everyday food purchases, it is welcome that drinks can also be ordered at the same time. This way you really save time by not having to go to the store separately.
Can I order alcoholic beverages online?
You can order over 0,5% alcoholic products from stores where the service is used.
We do not sell alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18, who are clearly intoxicated or behaving in a disruptive manner!
The sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited by law, and we act responsibly by ensuring that age limits are respected. We also do not hand over alcoholic beverages if there is reason to suspect that the beverages will end up on to a minor or a clearly intoxicated person.
If requested, be prepared to prove your age and identity when picking up or receiving your order. Estimating age can be challenging in some situations, which is why when buying alcohol, we check the age of customers who look under 30 years old. If the customer cannot prove their age upon request, we do not sell alcoholic beverages.
What are the restrictions on ordering alcohol?
- If your order contains alcoholic beverages, be prepared to prove your age when picking up or receiving your order.
- A valid photo ID issued by the authorities is accepted as proof of age. You can prove your age with an identity card, passport, alien's passport, driving licence and refugee travel document
- We deliver alcoholic beverages from the pick-up point and deliver them with home delivery only between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m
- We do not hand over alcoholic beverages to clearly intoxicated persons
How do I prove my age?
You can prove your age and identity at pick-up with a valid photo ID issued by the authorities. The person picking up the order must be over 18 years old. Documents valid for proof of age:
- Estonian passport / foreign passports and alien's passport
- Identity card / temporary identity card / foreign identity cards
- Driver's license(s)
- Refugee travel document
