Monday

Using up last week's leftovers and stocks.

  • Breakfast: smoothie, oatmeal porridge
  • Lunch: no-one home, no cooking
  • Dinner: wok dish with noodles and vegetables found in the cupboard

Tuesday

SHOPPING DAY, take the list along!

  • Breakfast: yoghurt with fruits: banana, blueberries, lingonberries, apples.
  • Lunch: boiled potatoes, salted salmon, tartar sauce from pickles and dill
  • Dinner: pork stew with onion and bell pepper, baguette, rocket salad

Wednesday

  • Breakfast: avocado sandwiches, cottage cheese with homemade apricot jam
  • Lunch: spicy tomato and lentil soup
  • Dinner: oven-baked potatoes with creamy white button mushroom sauce. Roasted Padron peppers, baguette

Thursday

  • Breakfast: oatmeal porridge, blueberries, lingonberries
  • Lunch: oven-baked peppers stuffed with herb-flavoured rice and covered with cheese (rice bought last week)
  • Dinner: Sushi night! Ordered in.

Friday

  • Breakfast: avocado and salted salmon sandwiches, banana
  • Lunch: polenta with lentil bolognese (corn grits for the polenta from the cupboard). Vegetable tempura.
  • Dinner: shrimp pasta (shrimp from the freezer, pasta from the cupboard)

Saturday

  • Breakfast: bacon, eggs, beans in tomato sauce
  • Lunch: chicken and vegetable soup
  • Dinner: oven-baked salmon, tartar sauce with pickles, mashed potatoes, fresh salad of spinach and iceberg lettuce.
  • Apple and curd cake

Sunday

  • Breakfast: smoothie, oven-toasted bread with grated cheese topping, apple and curd cake made the day before
  • Lunch: chicken and vegetable soup made the day before
  • Dinner: oven-baked pumpkin with brown butter and sage (pumpkin and sage from the garden).
  • Fresh homemade pot bread topped with fish cooked the day before.
